Postponement of ACSC Conference until October 2022
Africa CyberSecurity Conference (ACSC) is not just a conference, it is a professional gathering that fosters personal connections and business relationships. Its strength has always been the human connections it creates across the technology landscape. That connection is predicated on people tapping on each other’s shoulders, meeting for coffee, having group lunch, going out for diner and discussing business deals.
Unfortunately, the current worldwide COVID-19 pandemy challenges that very core of Africa CyberSecurity Conference.
Out of 98 sponsors sponsors that we surveyed, only 19 could guaranty participation if the conference was held
in October 2021. With that level of guaranteed participation, the organizing comity has opted to skip 2021 and prepare for a much bigger gathering in 2022.
While there will not be a large gathering of ACSC 2021 , the comity will organize 2 workshops based on single topic forum (January and April 2022).
Even though this announcement may be a disappointment to some, including ourselves, we are comforted to know that most of patrons and their families are safe. We encourage those who have not yet been vaccinated to do so to protect themselves and those close to them.
We look forward to seeing all of you in Abidjan in October 2022.
